How does Dr Wheatgrass Supershots differ from fresh wheatgrass juice?
The main differences are twofold. The wheatgrass extract we use
contains very high levels of antioxidants that are essential to
protecting the body from abnormal cell development (anti-cancer) and in
renewing and replacting damaged cells.
Secondly, the long
shelf life of at least two years up to temperatures of 40 degrees
centigrade means the Supershots can be kept at room temperature and
can be taken anywhere, anytime. Fresh wheatgrass juice only lasts a few
days under refrigerated conditions.
It
is worth noting that chlorophyll can not be preserved and is too
expensive to manufacture for commercial use. Because scientific
research has shown that chlorophyll has virtually no biological
function in the human body, chlorophyll is not found in Dr Wheatgrass
Supershots. We rely on the presence of bioactives obtained from
wheatgrass juice that appear to stimulate production of human growth
factors to help you attain and maintain good health and wellbeing.
