CAUSES : Fistula is a tract from the anal canal to a hole in the skin near the anus. One of the most common causes of a fistula is an abscess which has developed because of an infection in an anal gland. Crohn's disease, radiation, tuberculosis, cancer etc. could be a cause of it as well.
HOW-TO : Apply a little wheatgrass extract (it does not need to be inserted) with a cotton bud/Q-tip once every two days to the openings and/or the rectal area– and persevere. You may also want to take Supershots orally to boost healing.
TIPS : Wheatgrass is a catalyst so you do not have to insert the wheatgrass extract inside where the damage is. Drinking wheatgrass extract while using the wheatgrass topicals aids healing of the fistula. The symptoms may improve or disappear, usually within four to six weeks.

My nightmare is OVER!! What started off as an abscess on my left bum cheek was later diagnosed as an anal fistula at a colon and rectal specialist. WO HOO! The surgeon says “no surgery” !! I have managed the fistula so well with pulped wheat grass compress and your cream that he can’t even feel the fistula channel any more (its healing closed after just 12 days) and does not see any infection. So he says “just keep an eye on it.” Of course he had no comment regarding my self treatment. I showed him a picture of what it looked like at the beginning (10/9/2009) with the white build up around the opening (which is all gone now). No comment.

I was pleasantly surprised that this cream worked so well and so fast. By 2 weeks time of using it 2 times a day, my fistula has just about healed over. I have only a small bump on the outside left. The swelling and tenderness is completely gone. I also put a little dab on a little sore on my finger that had been bothering me for weeks and within days of using the cream it was completely healed. Dear Dr Chris, I am writing to thank you for inventing your amazing wheatgrass products. Since my initial contact with you last year seeking advice about treatment my health has gone from strength to strength. As you may remember, I was suffering from a plethora of conditions all associated with inflammatory bowel disease: a chronic painful anal fissure; two recto-vaginal fistulae and iron deficiency anaemia.
